Exporting color class preferences?

A colleague and I would like to use the same color classes setup in PM, so I'm trying to figure out how to copy my color classes names and colors to his machine.  Is there a way to export and import the color classes setup?

Not in the current versions of Photo Mechanic.  Version 4.6 will allow you to selectively export and import settings.

But in the meantime, I think it would be fairly simple to take a screen shot and email it to your colleague.  Then they can enter the label names and pick the same colors.

In the current version, is there a way to copy over ALL of the settings from one machine to another?  We're on Mac OS 10.4 and 10.5.  We want all the settings to be the same, anyway.

You can copy the com.camerabits.photomechanic.plist file from your <user home>/Library/Preferences folder but there are some bits of information in it like the Cache path that can cause problems when transferred over.  So we really don't recommend doing this.

When is 4.6 due out?

I don't have a release date to give you.  We're working diligently on it and hope to have it released soon.
