Ingest - file count

I really like the ingest of PM, but after ingesting from a memory card I always feel a bit insecure....was all the images really copied OK?

I would like at least a file count to display upon completion. Then I can check nr of iomages on the card in the camera before formatting it.

Yeah, and for us paranoids, a verify function to tick on those special occasions.....hear of quite a few that has had bad copies from cards, including myself.

Another (perhaps geeky) but useful feature would be a transfer speed indicator. It could shows how good (or bad) your card reader is, coupled with the brand/type of card you are using. I know Rob Galbraith has lots of data on this, but it would be nice to know which card readers work best with the computer you own. A countdown timer (estimated time to finish ingest) would also be useful.

Here's another vote for the file count. To be extra useful it could perhaps take the following form:
Transferred: x of y files (z already transferred)
The blue part should only be shown if there is an incremental ingest in place.

Other forms are possible as well of course 

The transfer speed indicator as Ed Wolfstein suggested would be nice to have too

File count would be good,  but what if a transfer speed indicator would slow down the transfer itself?
