GPS track files
« on: February 22, 2009, 01:06:55 PM »
I always download track files from my GPS unit to the same folder. Instead of having to add files from that folder in the "Import GPS Coordinates..." window it would be nice to be able to just point PM to the GPS track folder and have it search among the existing files for relevant coordinates.

I'm not sure how something like that would work: there are well over 100 GPS file formats out there each with a different filename extension.

You could perhaps limit the format types to the ones PM currently accepts. Geosetter, for instance, have this feature. The program scans the track file folder for relevant GPS data. It works really well.
