If I read the license correctly, a single copy of PM can be used on one computer. Hence, if one wanted a copy on his/her laptop when traveling, a second copy would need to be purchased making the total product cost to be $300?

Is that correct?

No.  We allow you to install it on two computers just as long as PM is in use by only one person.  If you want two people to simultaneously use PM on two computers then you would indeed have to purchase an additional license.
