Converting to .dng question
« on: March 13, 2009, 11:28:02 AM »
When you convert to dng, is there a way to automatically have the original raw files deleted? If not, what is the best method for sorting the files? Simply a sort by filetype?

thanks

There is no setting for deleting the originals.
Sorting by type should group each file type together.  Then it should be fairly quick to select and delete them.

That's a bummer on two levels.... First, you need twice the disc space to do this. Second, it's an extra step/sorting issue. Primarily though, the disc space concern while traveling is an issue... No chance of converting during ingest?
