Image preview when inserting IPTC info
« on: March 19, 2009, 02:04:15 PM »
Hi,

I have to put IPTC keywords to over 200 images and I have to have the same in some fields put in others I must add other info. If I choose 200 images and want to put info in can I get a preview of the pic in the IPTC (cmd+i) window?

I think it is like that in Fotostation, you upadte the IPTC and than click OK to get the next one. If I don´t see the preview than I can loose track of which image I am working on.

I guess this is possible but I can´t find it in PM.

How this is clear enough :)

Cheers...

Version 4.5 and higher show a thumbnail of the image you're working on in the IPTC Info dialog.  What version are you using?

I am using 4.6 on Mac. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Can I make it appear?

is there a diffrent layout or something. I use CMD+I to open it up. I am tryign to open multiple files and put diffrent IPTC on each one.

Cheers.

That's the IPTC Stationery Pad.  IPTC Info is accessed by clicking on the 'i' button that appears over each thumbnail when you've got your mouse cursor over it.

Ok, Can I choose many images and change the IPTC and press enter or someting to get the next one. So I don´t have to open each one seperately?

Cheers

Yes, there are arrow buttons that allow you to navigate through the photos, saving as you go.  You stay in the IPTC Info dialog until you're done and decide to close it.

Ok thanks. Knew it could be done. Is there any way to get the preview bigger?

Cheers...

Click and hold on the thumbnail and it will get larger.
