Edit selected photos and NEF
« on: March 22, 2009, 10:31:57 AM »
I use PM 4.6 and would like to open multiple rawfiles (NEF) in Photoshop Elements Editor.
I have pointed out the exe file (PhotoshopElementsEditor) but it only works when I select one picture and one picture only.

If I select one picture the Adobe Camera Raw opens fine in PSE editor but not if I select more images in PM and then choose "Edit selected photos with PhotoshopElementsEditor". Only the editor window opens but no ACR

Why is it like this?

Basically, Photo Mechanic simulates a drag and drop operation from itself to your chosen editor.  What happens if you drag and drop some NEFs (at least two) from Windows Explorer?  Does it open them then?

OK, well then I'm not sure why it won't work (I have Photoshop and it works fine, but I don't have Photoshop Elements) but you can do the drag and drop from PM to elements directly and that should work.

Sure, but it looked so nice just to right-click and choose "Edit with" without even having Elements open before the action.
