Lens model, adding search criteria
« on: March 27, 2009, 09:22:13 AM »
Hi,

I don't find the possibility to add a new criteria to the list shown in the searchpanel. Is that not possible?
And: how do I search by lens model generally? When I enter "Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L" ( that's the lens model as it is shown in the exifs) in the searchfield, I get no results.

Spotlight does not translate maker note data into human readable strings the way Photo Mechanic does.  What you're trying to achieve is just not possible with Spotlight.
