IPTC Stationary stamps Date Created with date but not time

Using PM 4.6.1b0403, on Vista SP1, with .cr2 and .dng files

Selecting Date Created in the PM IPTC sStationary, Bridge CS4 shows just the date, though the IPTC Stationary shows the date and time. Using the Bridge CS4 script at

the creation date and time get properly stamped.

By the way, I see in thebambook thread mention of an Adobe acknowledged problem related to Date Created. Perhaps this is affecting PM.

I'm not quite sure what you're describing.  The IPTC Stationary Pad only sets dates, not times.  The IPTC Stationary Pad only has a date picker.

In IPTC, there are two fields, one for the date and one for the time.  The IPTC Info dialog lets you set both, and the IPTC Stationery Pad lets you set only the IPTC date.

I see. The origin of my confusion is that in Bridge File Info ... I do not see the Time Created field, and so I had assumed that its value was to be incorporated into the Date Created field.

PM Build 0417, Vista SP1

Selecting "Capture Time" from Date drop down list, capture date and time are written into the IPTC Date field, which is just what I wanted. I must not have had that set earlier, but all is just fine now.
