Beta8 trash empty problem
« on: May 23, 2009, 06:27:44 AM »
On my Mac OSX 10.5.6 PM beta 8 seems to block emptying the Trash. I have a USB HDD connected and try to free up some space for an ingest but after I moved items to the trash and I try to empty it I get the error message:
The operation cannot be completed because the item PMContextMenu is in use.
Working on Mac, OSX, iOS and with some Canons.
Allways shooting RAW.

Is the PMContextMenu in the trash?

I found it there but don't understand how it got there. Could it be possible that the installer did it?
Anyway I moved it elsewhere so trash problem solved.

There is no installer on the Mac version.  It is entirely drag and drop.  At some point you likely put the file into the trash.

For the PM context menu extention there is definetly an installer in the Mac package.

I don't really think of it as an Installer since it is just an AppleScript that copies the file to the proper location, but I guess one could call it an installer.

As I remember it is called installer in the package. But no matter. The issue is solved, continue the valuable work (and get some sleep some time ,-))).
