'Save as' to B&W image processing

I love how the 'save as' and the web gallery stuff converts my images to SRGB! 

I'd really love to have an option to do a quick & dirty B&W conversion too.  (yes, I know, I'm not going to get great black and white results, but for proofing purposes, a simple once-size-fits-all algorithm will be fine)

I don't think I would have much use for this feature in PM, but this would be very very easy to automate using photoshop actions if you don't already know about it.
