Select based on Color Rating across folders

The find/search functions work well across folders, but I have not been able to find a way to select images across folders based on color rating.  Is there a way to do this.  I am running Mac OS 10.5.7 with Photo mechanic 4.6.1

It's not possible.  Spotlight does not index that information at all.

I did not think I could do this function.  I was not aware that the program used spotlight for these search functions.  Thanks for the speedy reply.  The feature is on my 'wish list' as I would use it to regroup photos from look shoots that are imported into many different files over days.
