Ingest Question for Sigma DP2
« on: July 28, 2009, 01:31:49 PM »
Hello again,
I have Sigma DP2 and I want PM 4.6.1. to create correct directory structures and rename file names, but doesn't work.
But Ingestion of Ricoh Caplio GX100 is well working.

Can someone give me an idea why this is?
Thank you for reading.

p.s. Sorry for my poor english.
-------------------------------------
[Ingest settings]
- Directory structure and folder names: "Ingest > 2009 > 07 > RAW_090729 ... Ingest > 2009 > 07 > RAW_090730 ..."
- Rename ingested photos as: Gihl_{year2}{month0}{day0}_{seqn}

[Sigma DP2 RAW files]
- Sigma DP2 memory card's directory structure: SIGMADP2 > DCIM > 100SIGMA > SDIM0312.X3F ... SDIM0313.X3F ...
- Result: Ingest > default > RAW_ > sdim0315.x3f ... sdim0415.x3f ... (Wrong directory structures and file names. This is my problem..)

[Sigma DP2 JPEG files, Ricoh Caplio GX100 RAW or JPEG files]
- Sigma DP2 memory card's directory structure: SIGMADP2 > DCIM > 100SIGMA > _SDI0316.JPG ... _SDI0317.JPG ...
- Result: Ingest > 2009 > 07 > RAW_090729 > Gihl_090729_0001.jpg ... Gihl_090729_0002.jpg ... (Correct directory structures and file names)

Photo Mechanic does not have support for X3F files at this time.  We don't have access to that camera so we would need some sample files from you in order to support your camera.  Please click on my name to the left of this message, then click on the 'personal message' link.  I will respond with upload instructions.

Thank you for quick answer.
I will send a message to you. :D

p.s. Anyway, I can convert X3F files to DNG using Adobe DNG Converter 5.4 and well work on PM 4.6.1.
