10.6 Captioning issue
« on: September 05, 2009, 01:50:53 PM »
Kirk,

A new issue I found using 10.6, when I go into the IPTC caption box and begin typing, the first character appears where it should BUT then the cursor jumps to the end of the preloaded caption and continues to fill-in what I'm typing. This only happens the first time you open the IPTC caption and begin to type. If you open the caption box, type, correct the errors, save, THEN going back into the caption, the problem is gone. This did not happen previously with 10.5.....Any ideas??

MacBook Pro, 10.6, PM 4.6.1

When you say that last part "THEN going back into the caption..." do you mean that you close the IPTC dialog and then open it again, or advance to a different image?

Kirk,

Yes, I close the IPTC caption and open it again and the issue is gone.

David,

Yes, I close the IPTC caption and open it again and the issue is gone.

One more question: does this happen in the IPTC Stationery Pad dialog as well?
