Please, no XMP nor xmp !

I work with Capture NX and PM only, not Adobe, so I need not the XMP files ( why xmp and XMP ?)
I thougth it was résolved with modifications in préférences. Today I just apply IPTC for my old photos to get captions, and now for each file truc.nef, I get truc.xmp.
What can I do ?

Adjust your settings in the IPTC/XMP tab to embed IPTC4XMP and change the popup menu below that setting to the last option (If XMP sidecar files exist, only update IPTC4XMP if present).  Then switch out to the OS and delete any current .XMP files where you find them.  PM should no longer generate XMP sidecar files.
