Staying Green
« on: October 07, 2009, 02:11:48 PM »
One of the new features I love about Photo Mechanic has to be the transmittion status square that shows up on the upper right of each image in the contact sheet.
However we have noticed that the green square disappears if we move the filed picture to another folder.
It also happens if we close the folder and reopen it.
Anyway to keep that green square live through moves and folder reopens.

That data is not saved in the image.  That's where it would have to be stored if it were to be persistent.  We may decide to do this in the future.

Yes this feature would be a huge help, especially if you are editing multiple photographers and need to put all transmits into one folder while still working. I have run into this issue a few times. Would be great to keep the green square alive.
Thanks

Conversely, is there a simple way to turn it off? I sometimes want to send an image to more than one place or in more than one format or size, so it would help to know which I had dealt with in a session.

Turn it off completely?  No.  Clear selected photos' transmission state?  Yes.  Select your photos and choose 'Clear Transferred' from the Edit menu.

That complicated, eh?  8-)

I'm getting there.

Thanks again,
