Is there any chance of getting support for Adobe large format .psb files?

 :)

Unlikely.  The format isn't documented, and those images would likely be larger than can fit reliably in memory.  Photo Mechanic doesn't do tiling of images.

Thank you for the follow up. Since PTGui Pro is able to save files in that format, I was hoping that Adobe had made it possible for other software to use.

Instead of .psb files, why not use TIFF? That's what I decided upon after using .psb files for my extreme panoramas (35,000x4,000 pixels 16 bit).

Would this solve your problem?
