Lens Description with "f |"
« on: December 07, 2009, 06:07:41 AM »
Why do the PM generated Lens Descriptions have "f |" rather than "f/" such as...

AF 60mm f | 2.8G
AF Zoom 14-24mm f | 2.8G?

What camera do you have and what variable are you using?

Kirk,

I am using {lenstype} variable with Nikon lenses on a D90 with current PM software.  Example descriptions copied from IPTC info window for past photos are:

AF Zoom 14-24mm f | 2.8G
AF VR Zoom 18-200mm f | 3.5-5.6G IF-ED
AF Zoom 24-70mm f | 2.8G
AF 35mm f | 2D
AF 50mm f | 1.4G
AF 60mm f | 2.8G
AF VR Zoom 70-200mm f | 2.8G IF-ED

Thanks,

Ralph Daily

Can I get a sample file from you that exhibits this problem?  Please click on my name to the left of this message, then click on the 'personal message' link.  I will respond with upload instructions.

Thanks,
