PM thinks it has ingested a set of files, and so it will not ingest

I am experiencing a situation where PM thinks it has ingested a set of files from a CF card and hence will not ingest twice. But this is not the case, these files have not been ingested. How do I handle this?

Turn off the Incremental Ingest check box in the Ingest dialog.
