Setting Capture Time from file date
« on: March 13, 2010, 02:57:22 PM »
I have a folder of TIFF files created in 1992; these are scans of 3D objects using an early black and white scanner .

I have preserved the file creation date on these files over the years, which thus represents the actual capture time & date.

Can I use PhotoMechanic to now embed a capture time that is the same as the file creation date, so preserving this information inside the file metadata? What is the best way to do this?

I am a new user, so excuse me if this is a trivial question.

Try using the 'Adjust Capture Dates and Times' command on the Tools menu.
