Maximum number of concurrent uploads

Is there any kind of tweak available for setting concurrent uploads to, for instance, four or five files instead of two?

While two is usually fine, I sometimes need to upload thousands of files at once over a very fast network. My standalone FTP client of choice (FileZilla) allows me to set the number of concurrent uploads and upping it to five when doing these huge uploads seems to give the best performance based on available bandwidth and CPU utilization.

No, there is no feature that allows you to change the number beyond two.
