Drag and drop bug?

Sometimes when selecting an image and then trying to drag-drop it to another folder nothing happens. I then have to restart PM and then its OK again...

What version of Photo Mechanic are you running?  What OS are you running Photo Mechanic on?  Does it matter what the source of the drag is or what the destination drop location is?  Are you in Arrangement mode at the time?  Once it happens, it keeps on happening?

Hi, I am running 4.6.1 on Vista Ultimate 64bit.
I am not in arrangement mode, I think the source usually is a "Select all of rating X" type. I think it stops working totally and everywhere when it happens. Will try to explore some more next time it happens...

A series of steps that reproduces the problem would be most useful, otherwise I may never figure out the cause of your issue.  And without a cause I cannot provide a fix.

Yes, I will try to investigate more next time. I am on 4.6.2.1 i noticed now.

Happened again: I have a lot of tabs open for various folders. Drag-drop stops working with the mouse. And it is the same for all folders and files, to-from all the same. Only solution is to restart PM. Dont think I did anything special in PM before. But it had been open for some time, for rating, drag-drop, rescanning, html export etc. This seems to happen quite a lot for me...

I understand that you're getting the problem fairly frequently.  What I need from you is a set of steps that I can follow on my own system that will cause my system to behave in the same way.

Hi Kirk, I have not noticed such a sequence yet. It seems more to be something that happens after having worked for some time in PM. Will keep my eyes open and see if there is any special steps that seems to provoke it....strange that no one else have it, or?!
