Resizing files issue
« on: August 24, 2010, 03:49:49 PM »
I am running Photo Mechanic version 4.6.5 and I run Mac OS X 10.5.8 on my Intel-based Core 2 duo Mac.

I am trying to Save As Nikon .jpg files to an exact size 300 px X 224 px.

I'm loading the custom width and height but PM is constraining the operation and is outputting the height at 199 px.

Is there a way to stop PM from constraining the resizing so I can get an exact output?

Thanks,

David

Does the ratio 300/224 match the ratio of the image itself?  If not, then that scaling would result in image warping.  Photo Mechanic will not warp your images.  It will always maintain the aspect ratio of the original image (or the aspect ratio of the crop if a crop has been set and you're applying the crop.)
