Ingest of selected photos only

Really surprised that always no possibility to ingest only the selected photos.
Is it so difficult to do ?

Would also be nice to choose a folder in the navigator, and ingest directly from there, say with a right-click open the ingest dialog, the folder already added and selected.

It won't quite work that way.  You would open the folder from the Navigator (new contact sheet), select all (or a subset), and then Ingest from Selection.

That's OK. It's Ingest from Selection that is really important here.
Any idea when you might release this?
