Does keywording degrade a JPEG?

Would just like to know if keywording in Photo Mechanic degrades a JPEG? Better to keyword a TIFF then save as JPEG?

No.  All metadata edits (keywording, captioning, tagging, rating, color labeling, and drawing a crop) cause no changes to the image data whatsoever.  No need to save as a TIFF at all.
