Problem with version 4.6.6 for mac

yesterday i downloaded the newest version of photo mechanic for mac, 4.6.6, and now photo mechanic is not working properly.  the program freezes constantly for no apparent reason.  when the program does work, it takes about 10 minutes for it to process files in a folder (this was never the case with previous versions).  i use an imac, OS X 10.6.4.  i have tried to re-download the program a few different times, as well as shut down my computer after installation, to no avail.  i also thought about removing 4.6.6 and replacing it with the prior version, but it is not available.  any recommendations? thanks

I am running into this problem as well with windows. Program is freezing and searches are very slow (often 2 or 3 minutes) if not freezing.

Temporarily will switch back to 4.6.5

Photo Mechanic on Windows only has a Find feature which is definitely slow when the items in the Contact Sheet haven't had all of their metadata loaded yet.  How many images do you have in a single Contact Sheet before you begin your Find operation?

Hi Kirk,

You are correct with this. I am searching through a folder of 3000 images for a keyword. 4.6.5 does appear to be a little quicker however but I may not have given 4.6.6 enough time to load all the metadata. This is a large contact sheet.
