In Preview mode : SPACEBAR to select pictures

Hello,
i'm an old fotostation user (i soon will be a ...)
one thing greak in fotosation is the way to edit pictures.

you display your pictures in preview mode
you use keyboard arrows to change pictures
if you press the spacebar, it's select the current picture...

when you press ESC to get out off the preview mode, every picture you just choose are selected...

it's the same thing than stars or colors but faster, you just use ONE key et quand bigger one off the keyoard : space bar

what do you thing about that ?

You might as well tag the pictures in preview mode and when back to contact sheet view just select the View Tagged option.

yes, that what i want to do but in preview mode how can i tag a picture without using my mouse and with only one key ?  i didn't found it !?

Press the 't' key to toggle the tag value.

T key is great for tagging photos but I keep tags for a separate reason then selection. And in preview window  one can Deselect images previously selected (D key) why is there no select key in preview window? It could be quite helpful. I aksed for it earlier and I keep doing it.
