Contact Sheet Tabs- Queries
« on: March 15, 2011, 10:47:57 AM »
Is it possible to do any or all of the following "while in an open contact sheet that has several contacts sheet tabs opened"

1. Close all Contact Sheet Tabs at once without closing the Contact Window

2. Firstly can one select several Contact Sheet Tabs at once.  If so, then can one be able to select several Contact Sheet Tabs out of many and close only the ones selected, all at once, but leaving the unselected tabs open?

3. Can individual Contact Sheet Tabs be colour coded?

4. Can the Contact Sheet Tab that one is viewing have it's Sheet Tab Highlighted to separate it from the other Sheet Tabs that may be opened?

Looking forward to what people have to say.

No, only one contact sheet tab can be active at one time.

The active tab does 'hilight'.  Depending on the OS you're running PM on it can be very obvious (Windows) or somewhat subtle (Mac).

It would certainly be nice to be able to choose the "selected tab" background color and text color... in the same way as the contact sheet colors can be chosen in preferences. On Mac it isn't always very clear, as you point out...

The way to tell which tab is active on the Mac is to observe that the active tab is 'attached' to the toolbar and the inactive tabs are not attached to the toolbar.

Yes, it's just fairly "subtle" as you point out, the ability to have it brightly colored would be nice, but no big deal...
