Quicktime thumbnails no longer visible
« on: April 21, 2011, 05:42:56 AM »
Hi Kirk: I'm running PM 4.6.6 on a MacBook Pro running OS10.6.7 with 8GB of RAM and I'm shooting a lot of video on this trip. Previously, when I downloaded my .MOV and .MP4 files, PM would display a thumbnail image for the clip. Now, all of a sudden, I get just a blank white screen in the little rectangle. The clips play fine when I double click on edit, but the thumbnails, which are very useful for identifying clips, are gone.

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance, Bob Krist

Without having the files I'll have to guess: QuickTime is returning a blank white image when we request the 'poster frame' from the movie.  Why, I do not know.
