What OS are you running?
Once you export your settings, what are you planning to do with them?  Import them on another system?

Vincent,

i'm running mac os x.

I just want to save them and be able to import them again after installing a new system.
i have to reinstall my mac.

OK, well then that's pretty simple.  The preferences are stored in a file called:

com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.plist

which can be found in the following location:

<your home folder>/Library/Preferences

You can copy it from one Mac OS X system to another.  In fact you can copy nearly all of your preferences files from one computer to another and they'll just work fine.  That's what I do when I migrate to another system.  Some programs won't work well that way, and others will.

All of your Photo Mechanic snapshot settings are also able to be moved from one Mac to another.  They are all stored in a folder named:

com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic

which is also stored in:

<your home folder>/Library/Preferences

If you additionally copy that folder to your other Mac, all of your snapshot settings will come across too.

HTH,

-Kirk
