IPTC Stationery Pad
« on: June 12, 2011, 12:50:10 AM »
I just updated to PM 4.6.7 (from 4.6.6) and when I called up the IPTC Stationery Pad and click on items, such as city and state, they all come up blank even though they had been filled out in 4.6.6. I'm on a Mac running 10.6.7. Any idea how to retrieve the info without having to type it all in again? Thanks.

Try running 4.6.6 again and see if it shows those items again.  If it does then you could export them.  If you no longer have version 4.6.6 (or the installer) then send a message to support@camerabits.com and they'll give you a link to the older version.

I'll contact support as you suggested. What's strange is that the upgrade on my desktop (still) running 10.4.11 still retains all the information in the fields. Maybe I can also figure out a way to copy it to my laptop.

You can.  Open up the Preferences dialog on your desktop, click on the Export button at the bottom of the window, and choose the items you want to transfer.  Copy the output file to your laptop and use the Import button at the bottom of the Preferences window to import the file.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did the export-import thing and it seems to have worked. Not sure why the upgrade worked on the desktop and not on the laptop but things seem to be OK for now.
