Auto copy caption field to keyword field?
« on: August 22, 2011, 04:01:32 PM »
Hi, Is there an easy way to copy the caption field to the keywords field  (better than doing Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V?)

While were at it, copying the headline in to the keywords, too, would also be great.

A script or some way to point to a few hundred filrs and say "make it so" would  be awesome!

Thanks!

No, that's the best way unless you don't mind doing it in a separate pass with the IPTC Stationery Pad, though generally sentences are not meant to be used in the Keywords field.

If you don't mind using the command-line you could probably use exiftool to do this.
