Can Photo Mechanic handle monitor ICC-profiles v4?

Hi support staff!

I'm using Photomechanic v4.6.7 for both Windows XP with servicepack 3 and Mac OSX Snowleopard.

My questions:
* can PhotoMechanic in Windows handle colors correct if I have a monitor ICC-profile v4 (or must I have a ICC-profile v2)?
* can PhotoMechanic in Mac OSX Snowleopard handle colors correct if I have a monitor ICC-profile v4 (or must I have a ICC-profile v2)?

There is an ongoing interesting discussion in a Swedish web forum ( www.fotosidan.se , in swedish language only I'm afraid) about version of ICC-profiles and if different software can use it or not. It seems that many programs can't handle profiles v4 in a proper way.

Photo Mechanic uses Microsoft's ICM (on Windows) and Apple's ColorSync (on Mac OS X) so if the OS can handle those profiles, then so should Photo Mechanic.

Even so, I've found that the colors don't match those rendered with Photoshop or NX2.  See this thread for an example:
