Canon CR2 and PM

Hi,
I am using PM 4.6.8 and Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2

After correcting the CR2 Raw in Canons Digital Photo Professional the preview in PM does only show the uncorrected raw, not the corrected one, as it is the case e.g. for Nikon Raw?
Maybe Canon DPP doesn't update the embedded jpg?

That is correct.  DPP does not update the embedded JPEG preview when adjustments are made to the CR2 file.

As a workaround, you can use DNG based workflow with editing the DNG in Adobe's apps. These allow for saving an updated preview back into the DNG file. Or, what I do, just save a JPEG version. PM works very nicely with RAW+JPEG pairs.
