Error: Unable to Save IPTC Info

Software:  Photo Mechanic Version 4.6.8; Multi Page TIFF Editor Version 2.4.0.613
OS:  Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

Error Message:   "Error:  Unable to Save IPTC Info"

When This Occurs: When I click "OK" after typing info in an IPTC field on files which have been extracted from a multi-page TIFF to a single image file using Multi Page TIFF Editor, then I get this error message.  I do not get this error when I add IPTC tags to single page TIFFS or to the first page of multi-page TIFFs.  Does anyone have a solution?  I have many multi-page TIFFS to convert and tag, so I need a solution.

The TIFF files must be formatted in a way that PM cannot handle properly.  Please post a sample.  Use the 'Additional Options...' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your sample TIFF file.
