can you edit html template?

I'm testing the demo and the html options to create web pages seem fairly limited. Is there anyway to edit the html template to add a custom header, footer, additional text, or other things like that?

You're correct, it is fairly limited currently.  We're addressing this by providing a completely programmable HTML exporter in version 4.5 of Photo Mechanic.  You'll be able to use several supplied templates which you can modify, or templates can be written from the ground up.
