Sort by capture time with two cameras is not working well

Surely the simplest method is to wear a reliable digital watch then sync camera A with the watch and then camera B with it a few seconds later or even a few minutes later.

The most that the cameras can be out is one second and it takes more than one second to switch between cameras A and B.

Havint an atomic clock app on a smartphone and taking a snapshot then adjusting the photos is not more complicated and since pro cameras have a subsecond timing it is more accurate.
Switching cameras can take a few seconds but using remote controlled cameras or different photographers can fire them at the same time...
