Problem with opening Edit in PE 10

Hi, real new here, but have a nagging problem I hope someone can help me with. I just got the Mac version of PM and in Preferences I listed Photoshop Elements 10 as the editor. When I select a picture and choose edit in PE PE opens but the picture does not appear in PE. Never had this happen in the PC version??? Any suggestions?

If you take PM out of the equation and just use drag and drop from the Finder, does Photoshop Elements 10 open the image?

Yes I can  drag and drop ok.

Whoopee, I found the problem! I went to Finder>Applications>PSE10>Support Files and used the Icon there as the link in PM and that one works fine.
Thanks so much for you help. I hope I can return the favor sometime for someone here.
