"Will not copy to pasteboard error"
« on: April 16, 2012, 07:10:11 AM »
hi-I have had this problem on two different mac computers-ver 4.6.8  Lion and older Mac OS
I open a folder of jpgs, select images, click 'select tagged' and try to move the images into another folder.
every single time it doesn't copy all the images and i have to do it twice. it leave an error message
'will not copy to pasteboard'.  at one point apple tech support told me this was causing a problem on my mac.

does anyone else have this problem an is there a fix? tks

What is the destination of your drop?  Favorites?  Navigator?  a Finder window?

You can always use the Move option in the Copy photos dialog, and then drag/drop/pasteboard won't be involved.

destination is a new folder on desktop
10.7.3 is the Mac OS

shouldn't this work the first time I drag/drop?

It should.  I have never heard of that error before.
