I just found the new camerabits.com website in response to the beta program. I like the new logo and website organization and layout except:

  • The font makes my eyes hurt. I am not a fan of grey-on-black anyway, as it is low contrast, and the sans-serif font used (which kind of reminds me of the lettering on the side of the Starship Enterprise) seems to smash together. Not easy to read, IMHO. I am on a 1280x1024 CRT using Google Chrome. On my Firefox browser, with scripts disabled, it seems to revert to a plainer sans-serif, and is much easier to read. Once I turn off noscript, it goes back to Kautiva.
  • In the store, can you make the Camera Bits logo link back to the main site, or add a link? I had to edit the URL to go back.

Looking forward to the new release!

it's a nice title/headline font... not so nice for body copy.
for the to-do list... update the favicon.ico file with the new logo.

Concur on the font used in the body of the web site - I had to really blow it up before it stopped looking blurry to me.  I can't decide if the color combo, the font or both is the cause.

BTW, the new forum design is GREAT!!!!
