Music in Slideshows

When exporting a slideshow in PM (4.6., there is a folder included labeled “music.” Is it possible to get music to play when a slideshow is launched?

I checked the archives and forum posts but couldn’t find an answer (I found a similar question was asked in 2007 . . . but am hoping that PM versions since then have incorporated an option to have music play with the slideshow).

Which Exporter template are you using?  And when you say "get music to play when a slideshow is launched", do you mean web browser-based slide shows, or the Slide Show feature built into Photo Mechanic?

I exported the slideshow using Image>Slideshow.

Music -- using web browser-based slide shows.

If you used the Slide Show command on the Image menu, you did not export anything.  You were using the interactive Slide Show module in Photo Mechanic itself.  It does not offer music or sound playback at all.

Some of the Exporter templates like Sound Slides plus offer music and sound playback but they are browser based slide shows.

My bad . . . It was the File>Export command, then I tried to output the show as a PM Slideshow. Burned it to a DVD and it played great, but was hoping that the music folder would allow music to automatically play along with the slides.

I tried SS, but haven't figured out why the music continually ends before the last few images. Also trying to get it all together in an older version of iMovie.
