PM5.0 IPTC Customization

PM5.0 build 12760 on OSX 10.7.4 MBPro Mid 2012

Unable to save Customized field labels in both Customize IPTC info and Customize IPTC Stationery.

Is it just me or is this a small bug ?

Hi Joop!

Works well for me. Please do not forget to hit ENTER or change to another field before closing the dialog.

Are you able to change them at all while you're in either of the Customize dialogs?

Many thanks for your quick responses.  I am able to change the field label and I click on ok at the lower right ok button on the customize screen and then close with ok on the accessibility screen. I did some more testing on basis of your feedback. (Sven: the ENTER helped partly- many thanks! )

Upon testing more variations I noted that the customization is actually working - but - only if I uncheck use classic IPTC dialogs.

I will try to do some more testing tonight.

The Classic IPTC dialogs are 'frozen in time' and will not be updated to support new features and technology.  In fact, we may remove them entirely at some point.

They definitely do not support customization.  This would be more clear if I were to disable the customization buttons if the Use Classic IPTC dialogs option is set.

Just curious, now that the IPTC dialogs are fully customizable is there really a need to continue using the Classic ones?  You can configure the new ones to show as little info as you want and there may even be some new fields that you could use.
