Delete All FTP Entries
« on: November 08, 2012, 06:04:36 PM »
So in setting up some new Win 8 machines, PM5 has not liked to import all the exported Prefs in one go.

So I pick groups of them at a time to import.

I messed up and double imported FTP sites, so I have duplicates.

Is there a file I can delete to clear them all out so I can start with a fresh FTP import?

Yes.  In your ProgramData folder on your boot drive there should be a Camera Bits, Inc folder that has a Photo Mechanic folder in it.  Inside that folder you will find a folder named "fileupload".

In the fileupload folder you should see a folder named "templates".  Inside the templates folder there should be a "builtin" folder.  Inside the builtin folder are your uploader settings.  The files that end with "-conn.yml" are your Connection Settings files.  You can delete them and create them again in Photo Mechanic.

HTH,

-Kirk

Thanks.

I found it in :

C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Romaing/Camera Bits, Inc./Photo Mechanic/fileupload/templates/builtin

In case anyone else needs to do the same.
