Ingest: Variables during file renaming
« on: December 15, 2012, 02:42:18 AM »
Hello !

I really like to use the variables-feature...
...at the moment I use this to rename ingested files: {year4}{month0}{day0}-client-{object:lc}-{city:lc}-{seqn}
The text in the IPTC- Stationery-Pad (local) for "object" is "Mr. Brown and Mr. White" for example.
With the :lc-option, the object text convert in lower-case... and it works fine !

But it is possible to delete all spaces in the text-string from the object IPTC-field for the new filename ?

No, it is not currently possible to eliminate spaces in variable output.
