Preview Filmstrip Color Class labels gone

I am starting to think I've gone nuts.

The color class labels beneath the filmstrip below the image being previewed in Preview mode have simply disappeared. The color class labels are still on the previewed image in the bottom right corner of the previewed image as they have always been, but the filmstrip only had the filename listed below the filmstrip thumbnails. Did I hit a key accidentally?

Help?

Grab the horizontal splitter (just above the thumbnails) with your mouse and drag it upwards a few pixels and you should see the tag/color class/rating indicators appear again.

OK, well did you turn off the 'Show soft-rotation indicators" checkbox in the Preview preferences?  If so, turn it back on and your indicators should come back on.

Tried that as well first thing. Didn't work.

Just called support and we were able to delete the preference files and force them to rebuild and everything seems okay now.
