D4 image tags disappear in PM

I am running Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 13915 (a16ea99) on a Mac OS X version 10.7.5. The tagged images in a Nikon D4 disappear in PM contact sheet. I file from the camera to an iPad and then use PM to update and archive images I have filed. Is it possible to retain the tag somehow?

If the images don't arrive at your computer with the "Locked" flag set, then PM won't see them as tagged.  Your camera simply protects them from writing and if your iPad workflow doesn't preserve the Locked/Protected status then it won't be available to PM.
