Request another play .wav button
« on: December 27, 2006, 12:38:39 PM »
I have been increasingly using my voice record feature on the Nikon D2Xs which translates into PM with a .wav play button on each picture square where there is a .wav file.

My request is to add a play .wav button on/inside the IPTC info window so when I am typing captions, especially from parties, where I do not have an assistant, I can go from picture to picture without having to change views each time to be able to play the .wav and type voice info into caption box.

Doe the future bear a Voice Recognition Generator that switches voice data to electronic form to where it is editable?

Thanks for a great program that keeps getting better.

The Play and Stop buttons should be active in the IPTC Info dialog when a sound is present.

Voice recognition is not an area of our expertise...

Thanks so much as I never noticed that button because I was looking for the little red square as on the outside. It works great.

I did realize it would be nice to have a pause and slight rewind button so one does not have to go back to the beggining of the .wav file if a lot of names are recorded.

Thanks so so much for a great product.

Happy Holidays

Perhaps a 3rd party application such as 'VR Commander' will provide the extra functionality that you're looking for:
