Making keywords panel larger on a Mac ?

My apologies, today is my first day on a Mac - everything loaded up and working, seems to be anyway, but for the life of me I can't see a way that when you open up the Keywords panel that I use all the time (CMD and K) you can make it larger - it's very narrow when it opens, I can't see all of my longer keywords and I can't see any of those grab handles to enlarge the panel width ways like I would with Windows, although there are grab handles to make it taller/shorter ?

You can't change the width only the height of some panels as follows:

Prefs>Accessibility>Customise IPTC Info and/or Customise IPTC Stationery links buttons

Click on the up/down arrows icon adjacent to enabled panel allows extra rows to be included. Also useful is the ability to hide those superfluous unwanted boxes to keep matters minimalist.

As it seems, it is possible to accomplish that in the Structured Keywords Panel. But not in the regular Keywords Panel.

How come I can easily resize the Keywords panel on a PC but not on a Mac ? I use "phrases" I suppose you could call them sometimes as keywords, and to not be able to see the "phrase" in there to select the right one makes it pretty hard to quickly keyword my images......
