when i click on a thumb the I i got a crash , and photo mechanics stops to works

this happen with a clean install trial mode , registered mode
windows 7 64bit with last updates

in the second screenshot there is operation not supported 
is there a fix?

What if you just highlight the thumbnail and press the I key on your keyboard instead of clicking the button?

(i.e. Is it the act of opening the IPTC dialog that causes the crash or simply the act of clicking the icon.)

Are you able to open the IPTC Stationery Pad dialog, or does it give an error as well?
