Importing in LR 5 from PM 5
« on: April 27, 2014, 07:21:56 AM »
Hello!

I have PM 5 build 15451 (86b6bbe) working on Windows 7x64 & LR 5.

I had PM 5 on my old computer with Windows 7x64 & LR 5 & it worked fine.  I recently installed PM 5 on my new computer.  I made LR my preference for editing photos.

My workflow is this: Ingest all photos from memory card through PM 5, 5 star my picks, select 5 stars, import 5 stars into LR 5 for editing, export JPEGs.  It worked fine on my old computer, but it does not work on my new one.  When I select my 5 stars (usually a few hundred)  & then right click, CTRL e, or go to Image > Edit, it will show all the images in LR, but only one will be check marked for import.  I messed around with it all day yesterday.  I finally got it to import all 5 star images, but when I tried to do it again with more images it wouldn't work again.

I'm sure it is probably me, maybe I don't have something configured correctly.  Can anyone help...? :)

Thanks so much!
~Casey

Have you tried dragging and dropping the images you wish to import onto LR5?  Perhaps that will work better.

Yes!!!  Kirk, you are amazing!  I think that was probably what I had done the one time I actually got it to work, I just couldn't remember what I had done...  I will remember now!  Thanks so much!! :)
